PlayerDataPlus
Safely manage Minecraft player data — even while players are offline.
PlayerDataPlus is a lightweight Paper administration plugin that allows server owners and administrators to clear, copy, transfer, back up, and restore vanilla player data using a username or UUID.
It supports online, offline, premium, and offline-mode/cracked players while taking extra precautions to prevent player data from being accidentally overwritten.

- 💾 Create manual backups
- ♻️ Restore previous backups
- 🔍 Find players using usernames or UUIDs

- 🔐 Permission-controlled commands
- 📦 No external dependencies
🛡️ Safe Online Player Handling
Editing a player's files while they are online can cause Minecraft or Paper to overwrite your changes.
PlayerDataPlus automatically handles this safely.
When an affected player is online, the plugin will:
- Save their current player data.
- Disconnect them using a configurable message.
- Temporarily prevent them from reconnecting.
- Wait for their logout data to finish saving.
- Create a backup and perform the requested operation.
- Allow them to reconnect.
No manual kicking or server restart is required.
📁 Data Managed
PlayerDataPlus can manage:
- Inventory
- Armor
- Offhand items
- Ender chest
- Experience and levels
- Health
- Hunger
- Status effects
- Player location
- Dimension
- Bed/respawn location
- Player abilities
- Advancements
- Statistics
.datplayer files.dat_oldfallback files- Operator status when clearing a player
Note: PlayerDataPlus manages vanilla Minecraft player data. Data belonging to other plugins such as LuckPerms, Essentials, or inventory-management plugins is not modified.
Physical blocks placed by a player also cannot be automatically removed because vanilla Minecraft does not store which player originally placed each block.
