PlayerLeash breaks the vanilla game limitation where leashes can only be used on animals, allowing players to leash each other with physical pulling effects and even tie target players onto fence posts like common mobs.
PROTOCOLLIB REQUIRED
Smooth Physical Pulling: When the distance between the leashed player and the holder exceeds the configured minimum threshold, a high-frequency tick task applies a smooth vector acceleration to pull the target toward the holder, avoiding harsh teleports and eliminating anti-cheat false positives.
Anti-Stuck Jumping: Built-in environmental scanning algorithms detect if a leashed player is stuck on slabs, stairs, or block edges due to the pull. The system automatically triggers an upward jump velocity to assist pathfinding, drastically reducing wall-clipping or getting stuck.
Fence Attachment: The holder can right-click any fence block while dragging a player to "hitch" them. The session smoothly transfers ownership to a native vanilla LeashHitch entity, allowing for true on-the-spot detention.
Hijack/Takeover Mechanics: Free players holding a Lead can right-click an already leashed target to forcibly sever the old session and instantly establish a new leash connection (with an option to drop the old lead item).
