PunchCL

PunchCL is a lightweight, modern Minecraft Paper plugin that restores the classic self-knockback bow boosting mechanic (Punch) for modern versions (1.21.1+, 26.x), complete with forward movement validation, custom scaling formulas, world blacklists, and a clean configuration layout.

✨ Features

• Classic Self-Punch Boost: Allows players to boost themselves forward by shooting themselves with a Punch-enchanted bow.
• Smart Movement Validation: Only activates if the player is actively moving forward or diagonally forward. Standing still or moving backward cancels the boost to prevent unintended pushes.
• Configurable Boost Multiplier: Scale the forward and upward force globally via boost-multiplier in config.yml (e.g., 1.0 for default, 2.0 for double strength).
• Dynamic Enchantment Scaling: Boost strength automatically scales with the bow's Punch level (Punch I, II, III, IV+), with safe caps to prevent absurd velocities.
• World Blacklist: Easily restrict and block punch boosting in specific worlds.
• Multi-Language Support: Fully customizable messages through external files (lan/en.yml and lan/es.yml), with lan: en as the default.
• Clean Configuration Layout: Cleanly structured config.yml files with descriptive comments placed strictly above each setting.

• /punch reload — Reloads the configuration files and language settings without restarting the server.

📥 Requirements & Installation

• Server Software: Paper / Purpur / Folia (1.21.1 or higher)
• Java Version: Java 21+

1. Place PunchCL-1.0.0.jar into your server's plugins/ folder.
2. Restart your server.
3. Configure your world blacklist or boost multiplier in plugins/PunchCL/config.yml!
