PVPM is a lightweight PVP Management plugin. At it's simplest, it allows for players to opt-in to PVP or opt-out and avoid any damage taken from other player sources.
COMMANDS
Use is easy. By default, new players to the server will not be open to PVP. You can opt in with
/pvpm in
and opt out with
/pvpm out
You can check an online player's PVP status with
/pvpm check <player>
Players who opt out of PVP will be impervious to damage from other players (unless through use of traps, etc.)
CONFIGURATION
Configuration commands are also provided for server operators. These commands include:
/pvpm default_pvp <true/false>
This will change whether new players are automatically opted in (true) or out (false) of PVP.
/pvpm switch_cooldown <true/false>
This will change the required amount of elapsed time between opting in and out of PVP (in seconds)
/pvpm pacifist_retaliation <true/false>
If enabled, pacifists (opted out of PVP) will be able to damage players open to PVP. If false, pacifists cannot take or deal damage to other players.
/pvpm strict_enforce <true/false>
(EXPERIMENTAL) If enabled, will immediately kill a player if they attempt to damage a pacifist.
CHICANERY
This version of PVPM includes the Fishlottery, which simply chooses a random online player and gives them a Congratulations Fish. This is just a raw cod with a fancy name. Fishlottery is enabled by default and can be disabled with
/fishlotto enabled <true/false>
The time between Fishlotteries can be adjusted with
/fishlotto enabled <time (in seconds)>
