Description
QuestIntelligence completely redefines how you interact with Minecraft villagers, turning them into almost self-aware lively characters. Each villager has their own personality, real inventory, and the ability to create quests tailored to their profession, biome, and other stuff.
- AI-generated quests: Endless, unique quests. It's so complex that I decided to describe this mechanic in just a couple words. Otherwise there would be a huge wall of text here that no one needs, right? No, really, watch the video above.
- Personality types: Generative AI has a pretty interesting feature that allows you to set the tone of the responses. Their mood, their emotional tone. The plugin utilizes this function and the output is unique quests. Each villager speaks in their own way.
- Barter economy: In vanilla Minecraft, villagers trade items out of thin air. In this plugin, villagers have a real inventory, the contents of which they use when trading.
- Profession leveling, item production and unique items: Using the contents of their inventory, villagers produce items that they then trade. Sometimes they even produce unique items that are generated by the AI.
- Life simulation: Villagers have names, create settlements (which also have names), eat food, drink potions as drinks. If you hit a villager, or try to wake them up in the middle of the night, they will ask you not to do it again. The goal of the plugin is to create a complete living system, which the player can either watch from the sidelines or take part in.
- Reputation system: Default reputation was divided into two subtypes: fame and respect. Fame is a global reputation that affects the villagers' attitude towards the player all over the world. Respect is a reputation that is local to each village. A player may be respected in one village, but not known in another. Reputation affects trade prices. If a player has a good reputation, villagers will give discounts, and vice versa. In addition, this mechanic is intertwined with dialogs: villagers will speak carelessly to an infamous player and respectfully (or even friendly, warmly) to a famous one. If a player's reputation is too low, villagers will refuse to interact with them at all.
- Generative localization: Another innovative approach. You just need to specify the language you need in the plugin configuration, and the plugin will generate quests in that language. All messages of the plugin will also be translated.
- Four humanoid races: Villager models have been replaced by player models, with their own unique skins and races that depend on the villager type. For example, dwarves can be found in snowy biomes and orcs can be found in deserts.
