RCore 2.0.0 Beta Build 2 Update Notes
Release artifact version: 2.0.0-BETA-Build-2
Last updated: 2026-10-04
This build updates the shared combat, display, and Velocity services. Back up plugin data and test the upgrade on a non-production server before rollout.
Changes since Beta Build 1
- Added a shared combat-state service and enter, refresh, and exit events for other plugins to observe combat tags.
- Velocity can send a recently combat-tagged player back to the same backend on reconnect. The
combat-reconnect-secondssetting controls the window;0disables this routing. Backend hit reports use RCore's authenticated network channel. - Improved display defaults and menu navigation, including safer confirmation and editing flows.
- Improved
/rcore reloadresponses and lifecycle handling.
Upgrade notes
- Configure the reconnect window in the Velocity RCore configuration if the default does not suit your network. The backend and proxy must share the RCore network configuration for combat reports to reach Velocity.
- RCore remains a required dependency for the other RaindropSuite gameplay plugins. Folia sidebar and hot-disable limitations described in the Beta Build 1 notes still apply.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
