๐ SchemFlow v0.5.16
Fixes: provisioned maps keep their display-entity models and their biomes.
๐ช Fixed โ display-entity models vanished from provisioned maps
Decorations built from many block/item/text displays riding one root entity (lamps, furniture and similar models) were missing after a paste. FastAsyncWorldEdit stores such a model twice: complete inside the root's Passengers list, and as separate top-level entries with no data. On paste it spawned only the empty entries (block displays of air, item displays without an item, blank text displays) and dropped the root's passengers.
Now SchemFlow spawns each root with its passengers mounted, from its complete data, and skips the empty duplicates.
- Existing schematics are restored as they are. No re-export needed.
- The data is parsed off the main thread. Spawning runs in small batches (
maps.entitiesPerTick) and finishes beforeprovisionRoundWorldcompletes, so a world unloaded or copied right afterwards keeps its models. - New exports no longer write the empty duplicates.
๐ธ Fixed โ provisioned maps lost their biomes
Map exports never stored biomes, so a provisioned map took the biomes of the empty world it was pasted into: wrong grass, foliage, water and sky colours, rain instead of snow. Exports now store every block's biome (3D) and pastes write them back.
Only maps exported with 0.5.16 or later carry biomes. Re-export older maps to get them. A schematic without biomes leaves the world's biomes untouched.
โ Verified
Purpur 26.2 + FAWE 2.15.4 and Paper 1.21.11 + FAWE 2.15.4: export, provision, then an immediate unload, copy and reload of the world.
| v0.5.15 | v0.5.16 | |
|---|---|---|
| Test scene (49 entities, 35 riding; 8 biomes in 3D) | 10/49 entities intact, 0/10240 biome cells | 48/49 identical in every field*, 10240/10240 |
| Production-sized map (46 models, 1702 displays) | 0 riding, 1104 empty displays | all 1702 back, 1656 riding |
* the remaining one differs only in its interpolation start delay, which vanilla's own save drops.
Also covered: headless exports, pasteAtOrigin=false, old schematics (models restored, world biomes unchanged), and multi-line or special-character text, names and lore on riders. Main-thread cost on the production-sized map: 35โ85 ms, spread over about 14 ticks.
โ๏ธ New config
Written into existing config.yml files on startup:
maps:
copyBiomes: true # store biomes in map exports and paste them back
restorePassengers: true # rebuild entities riding other entities (display-entity models)
entitiesPerTick: 128 # entities spawned per tick while restoring them
Compatibility: Minecraft 1.21โ1.21.11 and 26.1โ26.2 ยท Paper/Purpur ยท Java 21+ ยท WorldEdit 7.2.18+ / FastAsyncWorldEdit ยท public API unchanged
Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
