Changes
ScoreboardPL 1.7.0
โจ New: Multiple scoreboards (profiles)
- Define any number of scoreboards under
scoreboards:(e.g. lobby, survival, PvP, minigames), each with its own title, lines and optional animatedtitle-frames - Players automatically see the profile that fits them, and it switches by itself when the situation changes
- Conditions per profile:
world(with*wildcards),gamemode, group, permissionand placeholder comparisons (==,!=,>=,<=,>,<), plusany:(OR) andnot: - Priorities: if several profiles match, the highest
prioritywins (ties: the one listed first) default-profile: shown when no conditions match- Per-line conditions: show a line only when its condition is true, e.g. only when an economy plugin is present
- Placeholders from PlaceholderAPI, Vault and LuckPerms also work inside conditions
โก Performance
- Conditions are compiled once on load, never re-parsed on updates
- Profile switching is event-driven: join, world change, gamemode change and LuckPerms rank changes are detected instantly
- Only placeholder-based conditions are re-checked periodically, configurable via the new
settings.condition-check-interval-ticks(default: 40) - Switching a profile updates the player's existing scoreboard in place instead of recreating it
๐ ๏ธ New commands & permissions
/sb infoshows your active profile, why it was chosen and which profiles currently match (scoreboardpl.info)/sb set <profile|clear> [player]forces a profile for testing or events (scoreboardpl.set)
๐ New placeholder & API
%scoreboardpl_profile%returns the ID of the profile a player currently sees (built in and via PlaceholderAPI)- Other plugins (e.g. minigames) can use
ScoreboardManager#setOverrideand#clearOverrideto force a profile
๐ Changed
- This build targets Minecraft 1.21.4 and newer and requires Java 21 (
api-version: 1.21) - The default
config.ymlnow ships with example profiles and documentation for all condition types
๐ Fixed
%player_biome%no longer breaks on 1.21.3+, whereBiomeis no longer an enum- Improved thread safety on Folia: shared player data now uses concurrent collections and money formatting is thread-local
๐ Updating from 1.6.x
- No config changes required. If your config has no
scoreboards:section, your existingscoreboard:section is used automatically as the default profile - To use the new features, copy the
scoreboards:section from the new defaultconfig.yml, or delete your old config and let the plugin generate a fresh one - Run
/sb reloadafter editing the config
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
