TradePlugin

A secure player-to-player trade plugin for Paper 1.21+.

Trade items safely through an 8-item GUI with both-side accept confirmation. No item moves until both players lock in — no scams, no dropped items, no disputes.

Features

• 8-item trade GUI — request, accept, decline, or cancel a trade from a clean two-sided interface
• Both-side lock-in — items only change hands once both players confirm; either side can back out until then
• Anti-scam safety — trades are cancelled automatically if a player moves too far away, changes worlds, or disconnects
• Full trade history — every completed trade is logged with a searchable admin history
• Distance and world checks — optionally require both players in the same world, or within a configurable distance
• Creative-mode block — optionally block trading while either player is in Creative, closing an easy dupe vector
• Configurable request timeout — pending trade requests expire automatically (default 60 seconds)

Permissions

Configuration highlights

• settings.enabled — master switch for the entire plugin
• settings.request-timeout-seconds — how long a pending request lives before auto-expiring
• settings.max-items-per-side — item slots per side (1–16)
• settings.require-same-world / settings.distance-limit-blocks — location restrictions on trading
• settings.block-creative — block trades while either player is in Creative mode
• history.max-records — cap on stored trade history (-1 for unlimited)

All player-facing messages use MiniMessage formatting and are fully configurable.

Setup

1. Drop TradePlugin.jar into your server's plugins/ folder.
2. Restart the server.
3. Tweak config.yml to taste, then /tradeadmin reload.

• Server: Paper 1.21+ (Purpur works).
• Java: 21 or newer.
• No external dependencies required.
