ShearMaster — Gather Resources Without Killing Your Animals

Right-click an adult animal with shears or a sword to collect resources. After harvesting, the animal becomes a baby and must grow up before it can be harvested again.

Key Features:

• 19 Supported Animals: Includes cows, mooshrooms, sheep, pigs, chickens, rabbits, horses, donkeys, mules, llamas, trader llamas, hoglins, striders, squid, glow squid, nautiluses, armadillos and turtles, plus goats.
• Shear & Slice: 25 suitable actions across the supported animals. Some animals support both actions; others support only shearing or slicing.
• Custom Loot & XP: Configure multiple drops, quantities, drop chances and XP separately for each supported action.
• Animal-Specific Resources: Sheep produce wool in their own colour. Mooshrooms produce matching mushrooms and keep their variant. Goats only give horns they still have; the plugin does not regrow horns. Harvested turtles do not produce an extra scute on their next growth.
• Rare Drops: Nautilus shells have a configurable 5% default chance. Even an unsuccessful attempt turns the animal into a baby.
• Sound Effects: Shearing plays a familiar snip; slicing plays a sword-sweep sound.
• Easy Management: Configure supported actions in config.yml, or toggle them using commands. Already-cancelled interactions are respected.

Commands & Permissions:

Players need shearmaster.use to harvest animals; this permission is enabled for everyone by default. Administrative permissions default to operators.

Use /sm as a shorter alias. For example: /sm toggle cow shear. Commands also work from the server console.

Installation:

1. Stop your server. If upgrading, back up your existing plugin JAR and configuration.
2. Place ShearMaster-1.3.0.jar in the server's plugins folder. Keep only one ShearMaster JAR.
3. Start the server to load the plugin and generate its configuration on first use.
4. Edit plugins/ShearMaster/config.yml, then run /sm reload to apply configuration changes.
