SimpleJobs ⚒️

SimpleJobs is a lightweight and configurable job progression system for Minecraft servers.

Choose your profession, earn Job XP and Job Points by playing normally, level up your profession, complete daily quests and spend your points on powerful job-specific upgrades.

⚒️ Choose Your Job

Choose between six different professions:

• ⛏️ Miner — Mine ores and blocks
• 🌾 Farmer — Harvest crops and farm
• 🏹 Hunter — Defeat hostile mobs
• 🧱 Builder — Place blocks and build
• 🎣 Fisher — Catch fish and other items
• 🧭 Explorer — Explore the world and travel

Each job has its own progression, so switching jobs does not delete your previous progress.

📈 Level Up

Every job has its own level and XP progression.

Perform activities related to your job to gain XP and level up.

The /job GUI shows your current:

• Job
• Level
• XP
• Progress towards the next level
• Job Points

A visual progress bar makes it easy to see how close you are to the next level.

⭐ Job Points

Besides XP, normal job activities also reward Job Points.

Use these points to purchase upgrades for your current profession.

For example, a Miner can unlock upgrades such as:

• ⚡ Increased Mining Speed
• 🍀 Bonus Drop Chance
• ✨ Increased Job XP

Different jobs can have completely different upgrade paths.

🔧 Upgrades

Spend your Job Points on permanent upgrades and improve your profession over time.

Upgrades have multiple levels and configurable costs and effects.

The upgrade system is designed to be highly configurable, allowing server owners to balance jobs for their own server.

📅 Daily Quests

Every job has its own daily quests.

For example:

⛏️ Mine 250 Stone Reward: +150 XP & +40 Job Points

Or:

🏹 Defeat 15 Hostile Mobs Reward: XP & Job Points

Daily quests provide significantly more progression than normal activities and give players an additional reason to play their profession every day.

Everything important can be managed through the /job GUI.

Navigate between different pages using the buttons at the bottom of the inventory:

The GUI displays your progression, available upgrades, quest progress and job information in one place.

⚙️ Highly Configurable

SimpleJobs is designed to be easy to configure.

Server owners can customize things such as:

• XP rewards
• Job Point rewards
• Level progression
• Daily Quest rewards
• Quest requirements
• Upgrade costs
• Upgrade effects
• Maximum upgrade levels
• Job-specific activities

This makes SimpleJobs suitable for a wide range of Survival and Public Minecraft servers.

🛡️ Anti-Abuse

SimpleJobs includes protection against common progression exploits.

For example, players should not be able to repeatedly place and break the same blocks to farm job progression.

Progression is intended to come naturally from actually playing the game.

** 💾 Persistent Progress**

All job progression is saved using the player's UUID.
