Important Changes
- skript-worldedit works on Skript 2.16+ again! Skript 2.16 added its own
treetypetype, which clashed with skript-worldedit's and stopped the addon's syntax from loading at all (#23, #24). Thanks to @Toni4819, whose fork found the same fix. - skript-worldedit 1.1.6 still requires Skript 2.12.0+, and runs on Java 17+ again.
- This version was tested on Paper 1.19.4, 1.21.8, 1.21.10 and 26.3, using Skript 2.12.2, 2.14.1 and 2.17.1, with both WorldEdit (7.3.16 and 7.4.6) and FAWE (2.6.2, 2.13.1, 2.15.0 and 2.16.1).
- There was no 1.1.5 release, so this version also includes what would have been in it (the player selection expression).

Fixes
- Fixes masks not working at all on WorldEdit (they did work on FAWE). This also affected the
maskentry when saving and pasting schematics, and smoothing with a mask. - Fixes the forest effect always throwing an error, as the density wasn't being converted from a percentage.
- Fixes the sphere and pyramid effects throwing an error when no radius or size was given.
- Fixes cylinder regions stored in variables losing their y level after a restart.
- Fixes regenerating with a non-whole seed (like
2.5) throwing an error. - Fixes regenerating doing nothing on WorldEdit with Minecraft 26.1+. WorldEdit doesn't support custom seeds there, so a custom seed now falls back to the world's seed, with a warning.
- Fixes setting blocks in more than one region at once throwing an error.
- Fixes pasting a schematic keeping the file open, which stopped it from being deleted afterwards on Windows.
- Fixes
straight linedrawing a curve instead of a straight line (rigid linewas fine). - Fixes the block count expression not being able to be set to a variable when given multiple regions.
Additions
- Player selection expression: gets a player's current WorldEdit selection as a region, e.g.
set {region} to current selection of player. The returned region is a copy, so changing it won't change the player's actual selection. - Biome effect: a new
use worldedit to set biome of {region} to plainspattern. On older Skript versions (like 2.12), Skript's own biome syntax can take over the plainset biome of {region} to plainswhen the region is stored in a variable, so use this form there.
Changes
- Cylinder regions are now exactly as tall as the height given (
with height 10used to make one 11 blocks tall). Cylinder regions already saved in variables keep their old size. - The tree type used by the forest effect is now called
worldedit tree type, so it doesn't clash with Skript's. The forest syntax hasn't changed, but if you usedtree typeas a type anywhere (e.g. a function parameter), change it toworldedit tree type.
Other (pretty boring) stuff
- Types that clash with one already registered by Skript or another addon are now skipped with a message, instead of stopping the rest from registering.
- The update check now runs asynchronously, so it no longer holds up server startup.
- The build now compiles with
--release 17, so newer Java APIs can't be used by accident.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
