🧟♂️ Smart Survival RPG: The Ultimate Survival Horror Experience
Welcome to Smart Survival! If you are new to Minecraft or just new to survival servers, don't worry. This guide will explain exactly how to play, what to watch out for, and how to survive the apocalypse.
In this plugin, standard Minecraft survival is disabled. The world is far more dangerous. You have to manage your energy, your thirst, your body temperature, and fight off hordes of terrifying, intelligent zombies.
📖 How to Play (The Basics)
When you spawn into the world, you are a survivor. To stay alive, you need to pay attention to four major things: Health, Stamina, Thirst, and Temperature.
⚡ 1. Stamina (Your Energy)
You cannot sprint forever!
- How it works: Whenever you sprint, jump, or swing your sword, you lose Stamina.
- What happens if it runs out? If your Stamina hits 0, you become Exhausted. You will be forced to walk slowly and cannot run until you rest.
- How to get it back: Stop running! Just stand still, sneak, or walk normally, and your energy will naturally recharge. You'll see a boss bar at the top of your screen showing your stamina whenever it drops.
💧 2. Thirst
You need to drink water to survive.
- How it works: Over time, your character gets thirsty.
- What happens if it runs out? You will become Severely Dehydrated and start taking damage.
- How to get it back: Drink from Water Bottles or Potions!
🌡️ 3. Temperature
The weather and biomes affect your body heat.
- How it works: If you stand in the snow or climb a high mountain, you get cold. If you stand in a desert or near lava, you get hot.
- What happens if it's too extreme? If you are Freezing or Scorching, you will start taking slow damage.
- How to fix it: Move to a safer biome, find shade if you are hot, or stand near a campfire/torch if you are cold.
☣️ 4. Zombie Infection
Zombies in this world carry a deadly virus.
- How it works: Every time a zombie hits you, there is a small chance you get Infected. You will hear a gross squelching sound and your screen will go dizzy (Nausea).
- What happens? The infection slowly spreads from 0% to 100%. When it hits 100%, you will start dying rapidly.
- How to cure it: You MUST eat a Golden Apple! Eating a Golden Apple instantly cures the virus and saves your life.
⚔️ RPG Skills (Getting Stronger)
As you play, you will naturally level up skills just by doing normal Minecraft things! Leveling up gives you permanent buffs.
- ⛏️ Mining: Mine stone and ores. Higher levels give you a chance to double the ores you mine!
- 🌾 Farming: Harvest crops. Higher levels automatically replant crops for you!
- 🗡️ Combat: Kill zombies and monsters. Higher levels make your sword attacks deal more damage.
- 🏕️ Survival: Just stay alive! The longer you survive, the higher this gets. High levels reduce how fast your Stamina drains.
- 🪓 Woodcutting: Chop down trees. Higher levels make you chop faster.
- 🎣 Fishing: Catch fish. Higher levels give you a chance to pull up bonus treasure!
💀 The Apocalypse Events (Warning!)
Occasionally, the server will trigger massive, terrifying events. When these happen, drop everything and fight for your life.
🔴 The Blood Moon
- What is it? The sky turns dark red, thunder booms, and the world is covered in ash and red fog.
- The Danger: Zombies become incredibly fast, deal massive damage, and can see you from very far away. If you get low on health, your character will panic and you will hear your own heartbeat!
- What to do: Hide in a secure base, or fight them off to earn triple XP rewards if you survive until dawn!
🟢 Toxic Rain
- What is it? The sky turns green and poisonous acid rain falls.
- The Danger: If the rain touches you, you will be poisoned and slowed down.
- What to do: Get a roof over your head! Go inside a house or dig a hole underground until the storm passes.
🧟♂️ Zombie Horde
- What is it? You will hear an alarm, and a massive group of zombies will spawn in a circle around you.
- The Danger: They will immediately swarm you all at once.
- What to do: Fight them off! If you kill them all, you earn massive Combat XP.
✈️ Supply Drops
- What is it? A military plane drops a crate full of rare loot somewhere in the world.
- What to do: Look at the chat for the coordinates (X, Y, Z) and run there as fast as you can to claim the loot before anyone else!
💬 Commands Explained
Here is every command you can type in the chat and what it does:
For All Players:
/status(or/survival)- What it does: Immediately sends you a private chat message showing your exact Temperature, Thirst level, and Stamina. Use this if you want to check your vitals quickly without opening a menu.
/stats(or/statistics)- What it does: Opens a beautiful glass menu showing your total Days Survived, how many Zombies you have killed, how many Blood Moons you have survived, and your current health/thirst.
/skills- What it does: Opens your RPG Skill tree. You can hover over Mining, Combat, or Farming to see exactly how much XP you need to level up and what your next bonus will be.
/party(or/p)- What it does: The main command to team up with friends!
/party create- Starts a new team./party invite [name]- Invites your friend to the team./party accept- Joins a team you were invited to./party chat [message]- Sends a private message only your team can see.- Why use a party? When you are in a party, any XP you earn from killing zombies or mining is shared with your friends!

For Server Owners / Admins Only:
/smartsurvival admin- What it does: Opens the Admin Control Panel. From here, you can click a button to manually start a Blood Moon, a Zombie Horde, or Toxic Rain whenever you want! You can also click "Reload Config" if you changed the settings.
