# 🛡️ Staff Utils > **A clean, lightweight and professional staff toolkit built for real moderation workflows.** Staff Utils gives your staff team the tools they actually need without turning your server into a bloated moderation suite. Designed by **Bad_0320**, the plugin focuses on a fast staff workflow, a minimal interface, useful moderation utilities and support across multiple Minecraft generations. --- ## ✦ Staff Mode Enter a dedicated moderation mode with a clean hotbar and protected staff tools. **Hotbar layout** `InvSee` · `EnderSee` · `Random TP` · `Empty` · `Vanish` · `Empty` · `GodMode` · `Staff Chat` · `Reports` Staff Mode: - saves the player's normal inventory - restores it when Staff Mode is disabled - provides saturation while active - prevents staff tools from being dropped or moved incorrectly - blocks unwanted vanilla behaviour from staff tools - removes temporary inspected items when required - keeps the layout minimal and easy to understand --- ## 👁️ Advanced Vanish A practical vanish system built for moderation. - gray dye when Vanish is disabled - lime dye when Vanish is enabled - hidden from normal players - configurable permission to see vanished staff - prevents player collision while vanished - prevents vanished staff from hitting players - optional pickup prevention - silent join/leave behaviour while vanished --- ## 🎒 Inventory Inspection ### InvSee Inspect a player's inventory directly. ### EnderSee Inspect a player's Ender Chest. While using Staff Mode, inspected items can be handled as temporary moderation items. Actions are logged, and temporary items are protected from normal use or accidental duplication. --- ## 🧭 Random Teleport Jump directly to a random eligible online player from the Staff Mode hotbar. Players with the exemption permission are ignored by Random TP. --- ## ⭐ GodMode Toggle damage immunity from either the command or the Staff Mode item. ```text /god /god on /god off /god ``` --- ## 🪽 Flight & Gamemode Shortcuts Fast moderation commands without unnecessary menus. ```text /fly /gmc /gms /gmsp /gma ``` Commands can also target another player when the sender has the required permission. Flight state is kept consistent through gamemode changes. --- ## 💬 Staff Chat Private communication for staff members. ```text /staffchat /sc ``` Toggle Staff Chat or use it directly for staff-only communication. On the modern edition, Staff Chat can also synchronize across servers when Redis is configured. --- ## 🕵️ SocialSpy Monitor supported private-message commands. ```text /spy ``` Enables global private-message monitoring. ```text /spy ``` Only monitors private messages involving that player. Run `/spy` again to disable Spy. Supported aliases can be configured and include common commands such as: ```text /msg /tell /w /whisper /pm /message /dm ``` Namespaced variants are handled as well. --- ## 🚨 Reports Players can report rule breakers while staff members receive and manage reports. ```text /report /reports list /reports view /reports close ``` Includes: - configurable report cooldown - configurable reason length - staff notifications - persistent storage on the modern edition --- ## 🖱️ CPS Check Quickly measure a player's clicks per second. ```text /cpscheck [seconds] /cps [seconds] ``` Includes average/peak information and a configurable alert threshold. --- ## 📜 Staff Logs Important moderation actions can be reviewed using: ```text /stafflogs /slogs ``` Useful for tracking staff activity and reviewing moderation actions. --- ## ⚙️ Modern Storage The **26.x edition** supports a proper multi-server architecture: - **MariaDB** as persistent multi-server storage - **Redis Pub/Sub** for instant synchronization - **SQLite fallback** when multi-server storage is unavailable or disabled - asynchronous database/network operations - Paper/Folia-aware scheduling The plugin automatically falls back to local storage instead of crashing when multi-server services are unavailable. --- ## ⚡ Performance Staff Utils is designed to stay lightweight. - no NMS where avoidable - no ProGuard - no code obfuscation - no huge shaded dependency bundle - async database and network I/O - clean event handling - separate compatibility builds for different Minecraft generations --- ## 🎮 Commands | Command | Description | |---|---| | `/staffutils ` | Reload configuration or view storage status | | `/staffmode [on\|off\|toggle]` | Toggle Staff Mode | | `/vanish [on\|off\|toggle] [player]` | Toggle Vanish | | `/invsee ` | Inspect a player's inventory | | `/ecsee ` | Inspect a player's Ender Chest | | `/cpscheck [seconds]` | Run a CPS check | | `/report ` | Report a player | | `/reports ` | Manage reports | | `/staffchat [message]` | Toggle/use Staff Chat | | `/stafflogs` | View staff action logs | | `/spy [player]` | Toggle global or player-specific SocialSpy | | `/godmode [on\|off\|toggle] [player]` | Toggle GodMode | | `/fly [on\|off\|toggle] [player]` | Toggle flight | | `/gmc [player]` | Creative mode | | `/gms [player]` | Survival mode | | `/gmsp [player]` | Spectator mode | | `/gma [player]` | Adventure mode | ### Useful aliases `/su` · `/staff` · `/modmode` · `/v` · `/god` · `/endersee` · `/echestsee` · `/cps` · `/sc` · `/slogs` · `/socialspy` --- ## 🔐 Permissions All permissions are also documented directly at the **top of `config.yml`**. ```text staffutils.admin staffutils.staffmode staffutils.vanish staffutils.vanish.others staffutils.vanish.see staffutils.invsee staffutils.enderchest staffutils.randomtp staffutils.randomtp.exempt staffutils.god staffutils.god.others staffutils.fly staffutils.fly.others staffutils.gamemode.creative staffutils.gamemode.survival staffutils.gamemode.spectator staffutils.gamemode.adventure staffutils.gamemode.others staffutils.cps staffutils.report staffutils.report.notify staffutils.report.manage staffutils.staffchat staffutils.spy staffutils.logs ``` --- ## 🧩 Version Support Staff Utils uses **separate optimized builds** instead of pretending one jar works perfectly everywhere. Available branches cover: `1.8.x` → `1.9.x` → `1.10.x` → `1.11.x` → `1.12.x` → `1.13.x` → `1.14.x` → `1.15.x` → `1.16.x` → `1.17.x` → `1.18.x` → `1.19.x` → `1.20.x` → `1.21.x` → `26.x` The newest edition targets **Paper/Folia 26.x**. > Features can vary slightly between legacy and modern builds because the Minecraft server API changed heavily across these versions. --- ## 📦 Installation 1. Download the correct Staff Utils build for your Minecraft version. 2. Put the `.jar` inside your server's `plugins` folder. 3. Restart the server. 4. Configure permissions with your permission plugin. 5. Edit `config.yml` if needed. 6. Restart or reload Staff Utils. For the modern multi-server setup, configure MariaDB and Redis in `config.yml`. --- ## 💚 Why Staff Utils? Staff Utils is made for server owners who want: - a fast staff workflow - a clean interface - useful moderation tools - no oversized all-in-one moderation suite - separate builds for old and modern Minecraft versions - configurable messages, sounds and permissions - a professional staff experience --- **Author:** `Bad_0320` **License:** All Rights Reserved
