Astronomy in Minecraft
Stellaria
Look up! Across multiple galaxies, count stars and form constellations all with unique names and descriptions; small pieces of lore to bring the history to another level.

Discoveries are saved per world. Chart a constellation on your survival save? It stays charted there; join a friend's server and that sky is unmapped again, waiting for you to go astronom...izing.... ;)
Singleplayer/Multiplayer
This mod has a standalone MOD jar for individual users, and a PLUGIN to synchronize lunar events/constellations for multiple users with the mod on a server.
Galaxies
Galaxies are fresh every three days, which add to a different section in your Starbook. Discover all 80+ constellations over 6 galaxies to complete your Starbook and Starmap.
Stellaria is client-side. It works on any server, vanilla or modded, with nothing installed on the other end.
Access your Starbook and Starmap using the B key, which is rebind-able through Keybinds.
Multiplayer
For servers that want everyone under the same sky, there's an optional Stellaria-Paper plugin. It syncs which night and galaxy the server is on, so every player sees the same constellations regardless of when they last logged in.
