ThunderRanks
ThunderRanks is a lightweight and easy-to-use custom rank management plugin for Paper Minecraft servers.
Designed with simplicity and flexibility in mind, ThunderRanks allows players and server staff to manage custom player ranks directly through simple commands. Rank information is stored persistently, so players keep their selected rank even after the server restarts.
Whether you're running a small SMP, a community server, or a larger Minecraft network, ThunderRanks provides a simple foundation for managing player ranks without unnecessary complexity.

The default rank for new players is Noob.
๐ฎ Commands
Player Commands
Players can manage their own rank using:
/rank
/rank set <rank>
/rank reset
/rank help
Normal players can select from:
PvPer
Builder
Clutcher
Begger
Noob
Staff Commands
Server operators can manage any player's rank:
/rank set <player> <rank>
/rank reset <player>
Staff ranks such as Owner, Co-Owner, Admin, Developer, and Moderator are restricted to authorized server operators.
๐ Permissions
ThunderRanks uses a dedicated permission for administrative rank management:
thunderranks.admin
Default: Operator
This permission allows authorized staff members to manage other players' ranks and assign staff-level ranks.
๐ฌ Chat Integration
ThunderRanks automatically displays the player's current rank in chat.
Example:
[Developer] Samin: Hello everyone!
Rank colors are automatically applied based on the player's rank.
๐พ Data Storage
Player rank data is stored locally in:
plugins/ThunderRanks/ranks.yml
Your players' ranks remain saved across server restarts.
