Compatibility
Changes
This alpha adds the first bounded server-hosted TreasureRun round flow while preserving the existing gameplay compatibility path.
Server-hosted flow
- One server-hosted session at a time
- Two to eight participants
/treasurerun create, join, leave, start, stop, andstatuscreate, start, andstoprequire the operator-onlytreasure.adminpermissionjoinandleaveare available while the session is waitingstartlocks the participant roster before the round begins- A 10-second countdown runs before the round enters RUNNING
- Stop, disconnect, disable, and preparation-failure paths converge on the shared cleanup/recovery flow
- Participant return locations are persisted before teleport and cleared only after successful return
Compatibility and distribution
- The existing
/gamestartcompatibility path remains available - Java 17 and Spigot 1.20.1
- MySQL remains optional and disabled by default
- ProtocolLib remains an optional soft dependency
- No ResourcePack is required for the basic flow
- Optional client-language packs are generated locally from the operator's own Minecraft 1.20.1 assets and are not distributed with TreasureRun
This is an early-alpha release. Test it on a non-production server first and keep a current world backup.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
