Update to support Orphans due to WorldEdit
What was added
- /hopper trim (admin only)
- Scans only hoppers whose chunks are currently loaded
- For each loaded entry: reads the block at the saved coordinates
- Removes from DB only if the block is not Material.HOPPER
- Never touches hoppers in unloaded chunks, wrong-world rows, or link-only cleanup
- Reports: removed, kept, skipped-unloaded (and skipped-region on Folia if a chunk couldn’t be read from that thread)
Lazy prune (background, config-driven)
In config.yml:
maintenance:
lazy-prune:
enabled: true
seconds: 30
- Only runs for hoppers already being ticked (near players, chunk loaded)
- If the block isn’t a hopper, accumulates missing time
- After 30 seconds of continuous missing checks → removes from DB
- Resets if the block becomes a hopper again, or the chunk unloads
- Re-checks immediately before delete (avoids race if someone places a hopper in that window)
- Logs one line to console when lazy prune removes a ghost
After WorldEdit moves involving wifi hoppers, staff should fly the affected area (load chunks) and run /hopper trim. Lazy prune will catch ghosts over time as players pass through loaded areas.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
