World Height Limit

Expand your Paper or Purpur server's build height — without giving high-altitude building access to everyone.

World Height Limit is a Paper and Purpur plugin for Minecraft 1.21-1.21.11 that increases world build height by automatically generating a version-aware datapack inside your world save folder.

It is designed for servers that want extra vertical building space while still keeping the normal vanilla height limit for regular players.

What does it do?

World Height Limit allows your server to raise the top world height while keeping building above the vanilla limit restricted to admins or players with permission.

Regular players can still be limited to the normal vanilla build height, while trusted players can build higher depending on your configuration.

Permissions

Permission	Description

Important notes

• Make a backup before first use.
• Height changes require a full server restart.
• /highbuildlimit reload updates config-driven restrictions and messages.
• Reloading does not apply active world height changes by itself.
