Send a formatted alert to every server on the proxy.

Players receive the configured chat message, title, subtitle, and sound.

Server-specific announcement

Send an announcement only to players on a specific server.

/zmannounce alert "Welcome to the lobby!" lobby

Only players connected to the lobby server will see it.

Bossbar countdown

Start a bossbar with a live countdown.

/zmannounce bossbar "Event starting soon!" 5m all

The bossbar appears for the selected time and is removed automatically when finished.

Reload configuration

Reload config.yml without restarting Velocity.

/zmannounce reload

Installation

  1. Download the latest release from the Modrinth page or GitHub releases
  2. Place zMAnnounce-1.0.0.jar in your Velocity plugins/ directory
  3. Restart your Velocity server
  4. Configure the plugin in plugins/zMAnnounce/config.yml

Requirements

  • Java 21+
  • Velocity 3.4.0+
  • Compatible Minecraft versions supported by Velocity

Configuration

After first startup, a config.yml file is generated in plugins/zMAnnounce/.

Example snippet:

Supports legacy colors, HEX, and MiniMessage formatting.

Commands

Time format examples: 10s, 15m, 1h.
