KLAXON aims to provide interesting mechanics that add depth and fun to the modded experience, and here are a few highlights!

The Steel Hammer:

Have you ever been unsatisfied with hammers that are merely used in the crafting grid? This multipurpose tool helps remedy that, by allowing you to crouch+use on any block to hammer any nearby dropped items and drop the result in-world! It also functions as a formidable early-game weapon, granting you the ability to project yourself off the ground by attacking a block while ascending in the air, as well as the ability to smash through shields with critical hits!

Steel Armor:

Are you one to be scared of using your shiny new Diamond Armor until you can kit it out with enchantments so that it'll never die? Well, Steel Armor has you covered in that department. It's almost as good as Netherite, and is infinitely repairable - there's no need to even worry about those pesky enchantments with this! With the only real cost being a slight movement speed debuff and a reduction in your Hammer Walljumping capabilities, there could be no easier choice than to opt for Steel Armor.

The Deepslate Blast Processor:

Have you ever wished your raw ore was able to be exploded into smaller pieces that yield less material? Worry no more, as the Blast Processor allows you to use any item with defined explosion data to pulverize any compatible ingredient! In order to make the Blast Processor easier to use, we have provided a FastInput ability, which allows you to right click on an input side with a compatible item to instantly place it into the Processor's inventory! Alongside the explosive's instant detonation and the Processor's cheap cost, it is sure to become an invaluable part of your arsenal redstone repertoire! The Blast Processor also has support for several stranger explosive items, such as Fireworks, Wind Charges, and Beds.

Crude Steel / Steel:

The Blast Processor does do a bit more than just reduce your ore yield, as the pulverized ores lend themselves more easily to the production of makeshift alloys. By fracturing Raw Iron, smelting it, and combining it with Fractured Coal, you get this magnificent wonder material that falls somewhere between iron and diamond. Behold... Crude Steel. It's really quite crappy, flimsy stuff that is easy to break and requires a lot of repairing before it can become on par with regular Steel. If you do want regular Steel, though, you'll have to melt down some of the gear you've crafted with Crude Steel in order to extract only the best bits from it. Repeat this enough, and you'll have enough Steel to build whatever factories you'd like. Or you can just... use steel from another mod... But KLAXON's steel is cooler (totally)

EMI Compatibility

It is highly recommended to play KLAXON with EMI installed, as a guidebook likely will not be implemented for a good few more business days. Advancements might help in that regard, but they're more of a vanity than anything - they don't tell you recipes.
