Advanced Voicechat

A lightweight and powerful extension for the Simple Voice Chat mod/plugin on Paper servers, created by yoIckz/Savy.

This plugin gives server operators complete control over voice chat moderation, global announcements, group types, and staff monitoring tools.

Features

• Voice Broadcasts: Start a voice broadcast (/broadcast). While active, all other players are muted in voice chat so everyone can hear you clearly across the entire server. End it with /broadcast end.
• Targeted Muting: Mute (/vmute <player>) and unmute (/vunmute <player>) specific players in voice chat without affecting their text chat.
• Global Muting: Mute the entire server's voice chat at once using /vmuteall, and re-enable it with /vunmuteall.
• Operator Password Bypass: Server operators can join any password-protected group without needing the password—either directly via the Simple Voice Chat in-game GUI or by command (/vjoin <player|group>).
• Forced Group Types: Enforce a unified group mode across the entire server (/vforcedtype <normal|open|isolated|none>). Switches all current groups dynamically and automatically applies to all newly created groups.
• Admin Spy: Listen in on any active group channel (/vspy [player|group|all|off]) invisibly without appearing in group lists, with talking head icons hidden from the HUD.
• Group Creation Restrictions: Toggle whether non-operators can create groups (/vgroupcreate [allow|deny|toggle]).
• Admin Drag: Pull any player directly into your current voice chat group (/vdrag <player>).
• Operator Bypass: Server operators and players with the advoicechat.admin permission can bypass mutes and speak freely at any time.

Commands & Permissions

All commands require the advoicechat.admin permission.

Requirements

• A PaperMC (or fork) server running 1.20+
• The Simple Voice Chat plugin installed on your server.
