Exotherm but Veinminer is a Minecraft quality-of-life mod for harvesting connected blocks together. Its standout feature is a searchable, configurable block list that lets you decide exactly which blocks are allowed to chain.

Sneak while breaking a supported block to harvest connected blocks together.

• Chain size can be limited.

🌲 Tree Chopping

Break a log to harvest connected logs of the same wood type when the surrounding tree conditions are met.

🌾 Crop Harvesting

Harvest mature crop patches together.

Auto replanting can restore harvested crops using items from your inventory.

🌿 Vertical Plants

Harvest supported vertical plants without spreading the chain sideways.

⚖️ Controlled Chain Breaking

• Limit chain size.
• Deduct tool durability for each block broken in a chain, so durability drops by the number of blocks veinmined.
• Keep normal harvesting speed for crops and sugar cane.
• Preserve normal block drops and gameplay behavior.

🌱 Auto Replant

Automatically replant supported plants using items from your own inventory.

📊 Statistics Tracking

The mod keeps records for tools and saplings used with chain breaking.

• Tracks times used and times mined for each tool.
• Tracks per-veinmined-block records, so stats are kept separately for each block type a tool has chain-mined.
• Tool durability is deducted by the number of blocks broken in the chain, and this deduction is logged alongside the tool's stats.
• Saplings used by auto replant are recorded as times placed rather than times mined.

🧲 Pickup Boost

After a chain finishes, a temporary pickup boost helps collect nearby drops.

• Increased pickup range
• Faster collection
• Helps with drops that are harder to reach
• Can also collect certain drops from leaves after tree harvesting
