Fantasy 3D Armors
Medieval and fantasy armor, rebuilt in 3D for Minecraft.
Fantasy 3D Armors gives every armor material its own identity, from woodland guardians to dark fortress warriors. Layered plates, shoulder armor, helmets, cloth and small ornaments stay faithful to Minecraft's blocky style. The designs draw inspiration from medieval equipment, epic fantasy and The Lord of the Rings.
This is a visual resource pack: armor attributes and crafting recipes remain unchanged. The forge upgraded your style; surviving a fall is still your responsibility.

Included in v1
Seven complete sets, each with a helmet, chestplate, leggings and boots:
- Leather: green and brown cloth, leather and straps. Supports dyes.
- Copper: copper plates with a knight-inspired silhouette.
- Chainmail: fine silver-colored mail with gold borders, inspired by Bilbo's shirt.
- Iron: silver metal, a medieval helmet and layered shoulder armor.
- Gold: golden armor with epic fantasy ornaments.
- Diamond: cyan, silver and gold details with an Elven influence.
- Netherite: dark plates, spikes and an imposing helmet.
Equipped armor has 3D models for Steve and Alex, plus humanoid mobs that wear armor, including zombies and skeletons. Armor pieces also have native 3D item models in your hand, inventory and hotbar. Small Easter eggs await inside the pack's files.
The three transparent 360° previews above show the original diamond, iron and netherite models outside the game, with the player skin removed.
Installation
This v1 targets Minecraft Java 26.3.
- Install compatible versions of Entity Model Features (EMF) and Entity Texture Features (ETF).
- Place the Fantasy 3D Armors ZIP in your resourcepacks folder.
- Enable it under Options → Resource Packs and disable older versions of this pack.
EMF and ETF are required for equipped 3D armor. Held and inventory item models use Minecraft's native model system. Shaders are optional.
The gallery screenshots were captured in Minecraft Java 26.3 with EMF, ETF and Complementary Reimagined. Baby mobs keep their native armor geometry to preserve their proportions. The turtle helmet keeps its vanilla appearance. Leather dyes multiply the original palette; dyes and armor trims still need verification in each game setup. Resource packs that replace the same models may overlap, so adjust their priority when needed.
The vanilla enchantment glint remains unchanged. A special enchantment effect will be released as a separate pack.
Complete the collection
Pair these armors with Fantasy 3D Tools for matching medieval and fantasy weapons and tools.
The two packs are separate: use both together or install either one independently.
Created by Saipzzz. An unofficial fan project inspired by medieval fantasy and The Lord of the Rings.
The Shire requested second breakfast. The forge delivered a second layer of armor.
