I no longer support Something Feels Off. It was an experiment in psychological horror, with deliberate glitches and effects that reach outside the usual game world. I took on more than I could maintain, and too many effects broke or behaved unpredictably.

You can still download it, but expect bugs and unfinished mechanics. Only use a world you are willing to lose. The mod's final event attempts to delete the world save.

The idea

The mod was meant to slowly change your world over 75 hours. The lighting grows colder and the atmosphere quieter, followed by fake chat messages, figures using your skin, and entities that mimic you. Later effects include fake crashes, simulated system warnings, and spooky messages placed in your clipboard.

These are intended as horror effects. The mod does not read personal files or steal data, and the system warnings are simulated. The world-deletion event is a separate feature, so do not use a save you care about.

I stopped because the code had become too difficult to maintain. I had plans for a new horror mod built from scratch, but this version is finished and will not receive further support.
