Notice: For Minecraft ≤ 1.21.5, OptiFine/CIT Resewn is required for the pack to function.
So, yet another resource pack that seperates enchantments.
How is it different? You might wonder.
Hey, I'm glad you aksed! (I'm listing anyway even if you didn't XD)
Librarian trades rerolling was the one and only focus when I made this pack.
- It only applies icons to books that has maximum enchants.
- It doesn't look as good as others, because I'm no artist. I've tried to make icons clear and distinguishable from each other, but it may not work for everyone.
- It works with most other resource packs. As long as you don't care about aesthetics, you can just put it on top of your resourse pack and be able to see the icons.
- It supports another enchanted-book-ish item: the templates from Create: Enchantment Industry.
- You can easily expand support to more items/enchants on your own, if you know a bit on resource packs. I have a little Python script, posted on GitHub, to help me quickly dump out the files I need, in case you are interested.
From 1.21.5 onward, this pack is fully vanilla: just load into the game and it will work. For older versions of the game, CIT Resewn/OptiFine is required.
Currently this pack needs CIT Resewn/OptiFine to work. I plan on supporting vanilla CIT style in the future, but as I don't play newer versions currently this may take some time.
Why did you made such a weird pack?
Well, I have a long story to brag about. But if you don't care, just skip it. It's not important.
The history of this pack
It was back in 2022 when I first had the idea of making my own pack. Back then my friends and I were playing on 1.16.5 fabric, so there wasn't OptiFine, nor was there CIT Resewn, which came out in 1.17. As a result, there weren't any pack I could've used. Plus, I was being tortured by the stupid librarians' deals. These formed the basis of this pack:
I don't care about levels, I only want the highest-level ones!
And there you go, I discarded all these fancy level settings and specifically made a pack for max-level enchantments. The first ones only supported Chime, which was discontinued later so I moved to CIT Resewn (MCPatcher/OptiFine).
Some of the icons are made based on GUI Retextures. Great thanks to frugbug for their amazing pack!
