[1] Fixed /rtp on large worlds that are limited by a border plugin. JustRTP only knew the vanilla world border, so a world without its own custom_worlds entry was searched across the whole vanilla border, up to 10,000,000 blocks from the centre. With chunk generation off this always ended in "Could not find a safe location", and with it on, the border plugin pushed every player back to its edge, which for spots that far away is usually one of the four corners. RTP now stays inside the border of ChunkyBorder or WorldBorder when one of them is installed, whatever shape the border has. You can turn this off with the new rtp_settings.use_border_plugins: false.
[2] Added the RECTANGLE shape for worlds that are not square. Under custom_worlds.<world> set shape: RECTANGLE with max_radius_x and max_radius_z (half the width and half the length), for example 37000 and 19000 for a 74000 x 38000 map.
[3] Players are now spread evenly over the whole area inside the world border. Before, a radius that reached past the vanilla border moved those spots onto the border line, so players piled up on the edges and in the corners. Spots outside the border are no longer picked, so a large radius is simply cut off at the border.
[4] SQUARE now spreads players evenly over the whole square. Before, spots inside min_radius were pushed onto the X and Z axes, so the middle of each side got more players than the rest.
[5] With chunk generation off, RTP now only picks spots in chunks that are already generated. A pre-generated map inside a much larger border finds land within the first tries instead of failing on empty chunks.
[6] Clear messages when an RTP area cannot work, for example when min_radius is larger than the world border allows, when min_radius is not smaller than max_radius_x/max_radius_z, or when center_x/center_z puts the whole area outside the border. The console names the setting to change at start and after /rtp reload, players with justrtp.admin see it after the failure message, and /rtp answers right away instead of trying 25 spots first. When chunks are missing because the search covers the whole world border, the hint now asks for a max_radius or RECTANGLE that fits your map instead of telling you to turn on chunk generation.
[7] Config version is now 59. Existing values are preserved during the update.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
