Villager Awakening is a mod that enhances Vanilla villagers, adding culture, speech and personality. Now all villages feel like a living, breathing community.

• Dynamic Personalities: Villagers and wandering traders now spawn with one of 6 unique personalities, which provides a unique identity to each villager and governs its interactions with the player.
• Cultural Identity: Each culture now has a shared identity and provides dynamic speech opportunities based on their culture.
• Culturally Accurate Names: Each villager now spawns with a custom name that reflects their specific culture.
• Massive Speechbank: Villagers now have a speechbank of over 1000+ dynamic lines of dialogue.
• Reactive Environments: Villagers now comment on themselves, their personality, their culture, the player, and current world conditions using 30+ custom conditions.
• Smart Interactions: Villagers actively recognize you, themselves, and even adapt to your preferred gender!

• Flexible Display: Speech may be displayed in custom speech bubbles, in chat, or both!
• Fully Configurable: All features in this mod are fully configurable. Tweak them to fit your playstyle.
• Mod Friendly: Fully compatible with most shader mods and modded villagers. (Note: Some specific conditions may not trigger on modded villagers, but they will still speak.)
