Blackspion's Light Pack
The inverted counterpart to Blackspion's Pack: every element that was black is now white, and every white/light element is now dark. Same consistent, minimal theme — just flipped for a clean light-mode look instead of dark mode.
Features
- Hearts – all 47 variants (normal, hardcore, absorption, frozen, poisoned, withered, vehicle, container) in white/light gray
- Armor indicator – white/light gray instead of silver
- Food indicator – including hunger-blink variants, fully brightened
- XP bar – progress bar keeps its original block/segment pattern, now in light grayscale
- Crosshair – redesigned, high-contrast reticle (dark on light background)
- Attack indicator & hotbar selection frame – subtly brightened
- Beacon effect icons – dark symbols on a light background for clear contrast
- Mob effect icons – recolored to dark gray/black for clear visibility on light backgrounds
- TAB player list – ping bars and operator icons recolored to light grayscale
- Pumpkin overlay removed – no more screen darkening/blur while wearing a carved pumpkin (Enderman protection still works)
Mod Support
Required:
- Fabric Loader + Fabric API
Works without any mods: HUD, inventory, and GUI all function fine in pure vanilla.
Optionally supported (only relevant if you have the mod installed):
| Mod | What gets recolored |
|---|---|
| AppleSkin | Saturation/exhaustion icons (gold/red → light gray) |
| JEI | Full recipe book window, buttons, icons |
| Polytone | Dark XP level text (via color.properties) |
| Crosshair Indicator PLUS | Crosshair color change when a target is in hit range |
| Detailed Armor Bar | Armor material icons and trim overlay recolored to grayscale |
If you don't have one of these mods installed, nothing breaks — the extra files simply sit unused in the pack with no errors or warnings.
Compatibility
The pack covers a wide pack_format range and should load without a "may be incompatible" warning from 1.18 up to 26.2.
Installation
- Drop the file into the
resourcepacksfolder of your.minecraftinstall - In-game: Options → Resource Packs → enable the pack
- Optional: install the mods listed above for the additional themed UI elements
