This resource pack is a mix between the old copper color palettes from Create and the new vanilla versions of Minecraft. The textures of both Create 6.0+ and Minecraft vanilla remain the same, the only change is the color palette and some tweaks to some blocks and items.
- Clean copper is brighter and has a red-orange tone.
- Exposed copper is rougher and duller and more yellow-brown.
- Weathered copper is dirtier and brown-green.
- Oxidized copper is almost vanilla, I just tweaked the saturation of some colors a little bit.
Create is one of my favorite mods, I use it all the time, and I loved the copper textures and colors from the old versions of the mod. Shinier, more saturated and stylized, instead of the vanilla copper that looks dull and ugly. (Waiting and working for the new version 1.21.9.)
I'm still updating the gallery

CREDITS:
Kisutora (Who fixed a problem when using Complementary Shaders, and helped me with the textures, useful tips and resource pack management, THANKS A LOT!)
For some reason, if these blocks have a color in HSV, H (hue) between 20 and 50, and V (value) between 70 and 100, a big bright circle appears on the texture and it blends, I want to ask the shader developers why this happens, only in these two blocks. Make sure to go to Materials, IntegratedPBR+ Materials, Other IPBR+ Features, and change IPBR+ Emissive Mode to labPBR > IPBR+ for this fix to make effect.
(Versions 1.20.1 and earlier) Why not use the mod's built-in legacy copper texture?
Create already has a built-in resource pack changing the copper ingot and blocks, but doesn't change the raw and ore version, and I also don't like the retexture from the blocks. So I made my own pack, with retextured blocks and the new raw and ore version.
(Versions 1.21.1 and later) Why not use other resource packs that returns old Create copper?
This resource pack, unlike others, does not copy-paste the old texture from Create's mod, instead I used the new textures and changed the color palette carefully.
Does this also work in vanilla Minecraft, without the mods?
YES! I changed Create's, vanilla Minecraft and other blocks, items, entities and gui to match, but there are no problems if you don't have the mods installed.
Is this really necessary?
MAYBE? I know this is a very small and maybe unnecessary resource pack, but Create mod is almost vanilla for me, I play with it 99% of the time, and although I really like Create's old color palette, but I wanted to give it my own touch:
- In 1.20.1 it bothered me when the copper from the mod and vanilla looked different.
- In 1.21.1 it makes me angry the vanilla copper looks so bad and ugly.
Will I update the mod to newer versions?
YES! My intention is to update this resource pack with every major version of Minecraft, and also when a major mod (especially Create, but others as well) is updated.
- Note: Sometimes using a different game version of a resource pack can result in some textures not being applied if their ID has changed between versions.
- Between 1.21.8 and 1.21.9, Create has its own copper nugget, but the newest version of this item is vanilla, so you should choose either pre1.21.9 or the 1.21.9+ resource pack.
