Features
This resource pack comes in two variations:
- One where each individual block is outlined (General)
- One where blocks are outlined by type (Type)
It applies not only to traditional ores and wool but also to nearly all blocks.
Notes
- This resource pack requires Optifine or a MOD that provides similar functionality (CTM) to work.
- It does not apply to uniquely shaped blocks like doors.
- Using this resource pack may result in high system load.
- Some textures may not be compatible with other resource packs.
- Blocks that already have outlines have not had their borders adjusted.
- Borders are not applied to certain incomplete blocks (e.g., carpets).
FAQ
Why aren’t outlines showing?
You may not have installed a MOD that supports CTM functionality, or the version you are using is not compatible.
Can I use this with 32x textures?
Support for 32x textures is already provided, but the border size is designed for 16x16 textures, and the colors match the default textures. Additionally, blocks like glass with semi-transparency are replaced with default appearances due to texture modifications.
Can you make this compatible with blocks added by MOD ○○?
Currently, there are no plans to support specific MODs. If there is a MOD you would like this resource pack to support, please contact me.
Some blocks don’t have outlines.
For blocks where the boundaries are already clearly visible, or where no adjustments to borders are necessary (e.g., doors or furnaces), no changes have been made. Also, some blocks do not have outlines applied.
The outlines are too faint.
The outlines in this resource pack are designed as visual aids and are not intended to be prominent. A version with more noticeable outlines may be released in the future (as it’s easier to create).
Can you make this compatible with other versions?
Since file names changed significantly starting with version 1.13, adapting this pack for those versions will take time. The latest version will be released first, followed by compatibility updates for older versions.
