Altervoch adjusts and improves a ton of vanilla textures. For several years this has been my personal texture pack, so I might as well share it. See the gallery for photos!

Features

A full list of features can be found within the changelog text file found inside the pack. Here is a shortlist:

• Textures that I thought were better before the Texture Update are improved (and may be closer to their before-Texture Update designs)
• Unique textures for most Double Slab Blocks — this adds a substantial amount of additional building blocks and accents to use for your builds, but do brace yourself if you have double slabs mixed into your builds already as you might need to clean them up.
• Adding animated textures to blocks such as Furnaces and Crying Obsidian
• Random variant blocks such as varied bookshelves and more flower colours
• Some objects are now modelled in 3D such as Sugar Canes, Iron Bars, and Doors
• Other random tweaks to blocks that may be barely noticable
