Bricks are no longer ugly?!

Just look at this fantastic resourcepack made by -UltraFerret- on Reddit . It combines the art styles of the alpha and new versions to create a unique visual feast! I decided to port this to modrinth because most people look here for resourcepacks.

It may show a version warning - it's safe to ignore and it should work just fine. Also, you can use this in almost any unlisted version of the game! You just need to tweak the pack.mcmeta inside. Or don't tweak anything and see if it loads.
