BetterMalay Language Pack v1.2.4 (31/8/2025) [1.7-1.21 + 25w35a]

• [1.20+] Updated the pack.mcmeta file to work with the new supported versions format introduced in 25w31a
  • Note: This pack will only load correctly in 25w34a and above, due to bug MC-300888
• [1.13+] Updated some translations to be based on the latest translations as of 25w35a

BetterMalay Language Pack v1.2.3 (11/7/2025) [1.6 - 1.21]

• Updated the pack to 1.21.6/.7
• [1.13+] Updated base translations to 1.21.7-rc2
• [1.20+] Updated the in-game credits to the 1.21.6 revision
• [1.20+] Readded the Jawi copyright text on the title screen for Jawi Malay
  • Previously translated into Rumi script due to the alignment of the Arabic script that cause the first two characters to go off-screen
  • Now the text have some padding added (just a few spaces) to make those characters go back into the screen.
• [1.19+] Reversed the order of the music disc name for C418 tracks (into [track name] - C418) in Jawi Malay
  • This is because all the other composers name are transliterated into Jawi script, so their names appear on the right instead of the left. This change is made for consistency so that C418's name appears on the right as well like all the other composer's name.
• [All] Updated some splash texts
  • Also added the new 1.21.6 splash texts, as well as some that I missed in previous updates
• Updated credits both in-game and in the zip file

Side note

• Next version is planned for August 31st, if nothing goes in the way ;)

BetterMalay v1.2 (31/8/2024)

• Fixed many errors in the language files, which means that the files should work now!
• Renamed "Kulit Lembu"/"کوليت لمبو" (Cow's Leather) to just "Kulit"/"کوليت" (Leather)
  • The are now many ways to obtain leather than just cows
• Updated the pack to support 1.21
• Updated the pack icon for 1.20.x-1.21.x to reflect the 1.21 update, with some aspects of the 1.20 update still intact

v1.1 (1/5/2024) [1.6 - 1.20]

• First release of 2024!
• Version listing for the following Minecraft versions is heavily simplified; to reflect the simplification happened with the JawiCraft project
  • The 1.6 & 1.7-1.8 packs have been merged into 1.6-1.8 pack; the 1.13-1.14, 1.15-1.16 and 1.17-1.19 packs all have been merged into a single 1.13-1.19 pack
    • The resource pack icon has been updated for the 1.13-1.19 pack, with a cameo appearance from EmpAhmadK, who helped a ton during the development of JawiCraft!
  • This is done to make the updating process in the future easier, especially when counting the pre-1.13 packs
  • When loading up the pack in versions 1.13-1.18, ignore the warning given, as it should've worked regardless
• Updated lots of translations, which can be seen in full here
• Fixed some Rumi (and Jawi) translations that didn't make it into 1.20.5 in time
• Ported some translation and the Three-Quarter High Hamza fixes from JawiCraft for the Jawi translations (1.19+ only)
  • To fully experience Jawi in versions before 1.19, download the full pack and apply it above the BetterMalay pack in the resource pack list (or below if you don't want to use the Jawi splash texts)
