Colored Lava

Colored Lava is a Resource Pack that changes the color of lava and magma blocks based on the biome it is in!!

The idea of this resource pack was inspired by BCL (Biome Colored Lava) & Spryzeen's Colorful Lava, I just wanted something similar for the newest version of minecraft!!!

Polytone is REQUIRED for this pack to work!!

Lava changes color in all 5 Nether Biomes, all 5 End Biomes and 3 Overworld Biomes

Mushroom Fields with lava that looks like mushroom stew (Mushroom stew is HOT!!!)

The lava also gets darker the closer you get to the void in all dimensions!!!(it is just low enough to not affect the lava pools in the caves) Player being in spectator while lava gets darker closer to bedrock in the nethere (the nether roof)

To-do

  • Make the lava particle (ember?,spark?), and lava drip particles change colors (Doesn't work in 26.2 but should work in 1.21.1 and 1.20.1)
  • Add mod support
  • Add some emissive and shader textures
  • Change the particle frequency on campfire since I must have made it slightly too frequent
  • Add lava fog (Wow Polytone devs are fast)
  • Fix lava in cauldron being white
  • Backport to older versions (Probably will keep it in this version range since there are other resource packs of this type for older versions)

I'd recommend playing with a shader or mod that adds colored lighthing it really compliments this resource pack :)
