| DESCRIPTION |

Replaces the Half Heart icon, its effect and hardcore variants, and the Half Hunger Icon icon with an animated icon (Flashing Heart and variants). Removes the vanilla effect where lost hearts will flash in a brighter color when taking damage, because the half-heart animation is inconsistent with this animation. Does NOT remove the border shake or flash effect across every heart.

Currently supports Minecraft Java 1.20.2-1.21.10.

| COMPATIBILITY |

Incompatible with any resource pack editing the heart or hunger textures or animations. May look confusing when paired with the Appleskin mod, which includes different features using the same animation.
