Goose's Overhaul retextures Minecraft’s items and UI in a high-contrast, cartoony style grounded in reality. Most textures use limited four-color palettes, giving the pack a clean but detailed look while staying faithful to the feel of vanilla Minecraft.

Every item has been redrawn from scratch, with many taking advantage of the item property features added in Version 1.21.6. The UI has also been completely remade, adding extra personality and polish to every interface in the game.

Features:

Showcase of some features

  • Visual Enchantments: Exclusive Enchantments (like Silk Touch and Fortune) give the tool they're applied to a unique texture!
  • Eating Animations: Every food item has a custom eating/drinking animation! Potions have drinking animations too!
  • Diminishing Tools: As tools lose durability they will start to visually deteriorate!
    (Compatible with Visual Enchantments, allowing for around 520 unique combinations!)
  • Custom Potions: All 138 potions have a unique shape and color based on their effects, including Ominous Potions!
  • Custom Tipped Arrows: All 46 tipped arrows have unique custom textures to represent their effects, strength and duration!
  • Quivers: Arrow stacks above 32 appear as quivers, complete with a 3D model when held!

  • Better Goat Horns: Goat Horns have a unique texture and model to match the sound they make!
  • Custom Enchanted Books: All 128 Enchanted Books will have a unique texture based on their enchantments!
  • 3D Flowers: Flowers and other foliage have been enhanced with more detailed models!
  • More 3D Items: Some items, like the mace, fishing rod and buckets, will have a 3D model when held!

Blocks

Most blocks remain unchanged since I wanted to keep the look and feel of vanilla Minecraft. Some blocks, like torches, rails and brewing stands, have gotten a new model and/or texture to make them look more polished.

Future Plans

The pack will be updated the the most recent version of the game by adding relevant content as updates release.
As for backporting, many features the pack uses do not exist for versions before 1.21.6 (without mods like CIT) so making it available for older version would severly limit the experience.
