Halcyon [16x] — Programmer Remastered

What it is:

Programmer Art has languished beneath mountains of updates over the last few years -- receiving very little support or even patches for disparity between blocks both old and new, like Netherrack & Nylium.

Halcyon [16x] aims to remedy these issues by providing a remastered (as in remade) textures which bridge the quality of pre-1.14 textures with the newer Jappa-made blocks and artwork, resulting in a very clean and modern feel while remaining faithful to the original art and vision of the game.

What it isn't:

Halcyon [16x] isn't some supplementary resource pack meant to be run above built-in Programmer Art, it is meant as an optional replacement. As such, doing so may cause some issues regarding textures yet to be addressed -- do so at your own risk (know that nothing bad will occur, it will simply just look awkward.)

Halcyon's textures are not 100% accurate due to many compromises made to ensure texture fidelity and faithfulness with the source art. Any minor deviation or incorrect pixel I had to make was done as a consequence of the new color palettes used or difficulties with accurate translation.

Almost all textures have been addressed save for a remaining handful that I may or may not eventually get to, including mobs. Future updates may remedy any inconsistencies, but remember that the process to remake textures near-accurately is laborious and done with great consideration.

What's included:

• Almost all items including foodstuffs, weapons, tools & armor
• Almost all pre-1.14 blocks including wood variants, netherrack, stones & more
• Many pre-1.14 mobs, including Creepers, Pigs, Boats & more
• Modified blocks & mobs from 1.14 and beyond, including Tinted Glass, Crimson/Warped Wood, Piglins, and more
• Connected Texture support via OptiFine or Continuity (highly recommended)
