--- ## Built to extend Fresh Animations, not replace it Each mob is hand-rigged and added one at a time, and everything not covered yet keeps animating through FA. The roster grows with every release.

The `Weskersons3DItems` entry at the top of that screenshot is **optional and not part of this pack**. It gives villagers and foxes 3D held items instead of flat ones, but it needs the companion mod plus Modefite and Puzzle. Without those, leave it out — held items render in 2D, which is the expected fallback.

It also handles the `asmMaths` setting for you. Use matching Core for this release's selectors, layers and behavior. Install Core and VanillaBackport 1.1.7.10+ with its dependencies on both client and server for server-backed resting and persistent breeds. --- ## FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

**The mobs are not animating — they just stand there.** Almost always one of three things, in this order: 1. **`asmMaths` is on.** EMF compiles each animation into a single method, and this pack's villager animation is large enough to blow past a hard limit in Java. When that happens the mob silently stops animating and **nothing in the log tells you why**. Two ways to fix it: - Install the **[companion mod](https://modrinth.com/mod/ilike2moveit-core)**, which sets it for you at load time, in memory, and never rewrites your config file. Nothing else to do. - Or open `config/entity_model_features.json`, set `"asmMaths": false`, and restart the game. 2. **Load order.** iLike2MoveIt has to sit **above** Fresh Animations in the resource pack list. If it is below, FA wins and you see none of this. 3. **EMF or ETF missing.** Both are required: EMF 3.2.4+ and ETF 7.1+. **Some mobs have blank eyes or the wrong texture.** Usually a conflict with another resource pack or mod. Confirm it by loading EMF, ETF, matching Core and VanillaBackport dependencies, Fresh Animations and this pack. If that looks right, add the rest back one at a time. If it still looks wrong, reset your EMF settings. **Is this a mod or a datapack?** Neither — it is a resource pack. It does need EMF and ETF, because it relies on custom entity models (CEM). **Can I use it with OptiFine instead of EMF/ETF?** Untested. The pack is built and verified against EMF and ETF; OptiFine has its own CEM implementation and behaves differently in places. **Do I need the companion mod?** Use Core 0.2.1-beta.2 with RP 1.1.2-beta.4 for its selectors, layers and behavior. Core also configures the animation compatibility setting. **Does it work with shaders?** Yes — every screenshot on this page uses one. **Can I use it on a server?** The resource pack runs on the client. Install matching Core and its VanillaBackport dependencies on the server for server-backed features; those features are disabled when server Core is absent. **Does it work on Fabric?** This release is published with Core 0.2.1-beta.2 for NeoForge first. Its matching Fabric Core release is pending. **When is the next update?** When the next mob is finished and verified on screen. No dates.
