[MTR4] Moszyan Railways Resources for MTR

This pack adds various trains from the Moszyan Railways train operating company, known from the MTR Let's Play Server, Centralia and United Cities Railways, to the MTR mod.

Moszyan Railways (MRW) is a public transport operator based in Zantillo, Eastern Moszya.

Moszyan Railways started as the Rélwegh Mozië in the early 20th century, being formed of a merger of two local railway companies under government subsidy.

The national rail network was known for being underdeveloped, with electrification not coming in until well into the 1950s, and only being applied to the busiest part of the mainline.

As the network grew, so did competition, with the government selling out pieces of the network to other companies. These other companies however, did not do very well and many of them ran immense losses, prompting the Rélwegh Mozië to coerce them into merging.

Extensive collaboration with other countries and their operators, caused the railway to adopt English as its main language along the Dutch language, replacing the Moszyan language which had started dying out after the 1977 renaming of the country from Mozië to Moszya, with the main language of the country being changed to Dutch. It was at this point that the company Rélwegh Mozië officially became known as the Moszyan Railways it is today.

In the late 90s, the economic crash in Moszya saw a massive downturn in revenue that ended up almost bankrupting the entire public transport sector nationwide. Moszyan Railways was the only railway company that could survive on its cash reserves, and in 2003 the last two companies that had not closed yet, CityLink and Trident Railways, would merge into Moszyan Railways, with the former being in the middle of a failed rebrand, and the latter continuing to exist as a subsidiary.

In the years that followed, shares in the company were sold to foreign investors, keeping the business alive and strengthening ties, allowing the company to purchase foreign rolling stock in bigger quantities.

Right now, Moszyan Railways operates a fleet of 3 trams, 3 metros, 12 multiple units, 4 locomotives and 2 (types of) passenger coaches.
