Overview

The Siemens Vectron is a modern electric locomotive developed by Siemens Mobility, designed for interoperability across multiple European railway networks. Introduced in 2010, the Vectron family has become one of Europe's most widely used locomotive platforms, with over a thousand units delivered to operators across the continent.

With its modular design and extensive compatibility with different railway systems, the Vectron is used by a wide range of freight and passenger operators, making it a popular choice for railway enthusiasts and virtual railway communities.

Siemens Vectron in Minecraft (MTR mod)

This resource pack adds Siemens Vectron locomotives and FlixTrain rolling stock to Minecraft using the Minecraft Transit Railway mod.

The pack includes:

• Siemens Vectron (Unpainted): A fully white locomotive designed for community recolouring and custom livery creation. It features a functional pantograph compatible with overhead wire heights of 5 and 6 metres.
• Siemens Vectron (FlixTrain Livery): A locomotive featuring FlixTrain's distinctive green-and-white colour scheme.
• EUROFIMA Coaches (FlixTrain Livery): A set of EUROFIMA passenger coaches repainted to match FlixTrain's passenger fleet.

Siemens Vectron Models

Both Siemens Vectron locomotives use the same L75 model, originally created for the SKM Pack.

The model has been adapted for this resource pack and features two different texture variations: an unpainted white version for community recolouring and a FlixTrain version with its distinctive green-and-white livery.

The unpainted Siemens Vectron provides a clean foundation for community members to create their own custom liveries, railway operators, and fictional designs.

The EUROFIMA coaches are based on models originally created by Soodari for the European Continental Trains pack. The textures have been completely reworked by Vitor2005 to represent FlixTrain rolling stock.

The models have been adapted and optimized for use in Minecraft Transit Railway.

The pack is compatible with MTR4 only.
