This resource pack returns the Minecraft soundtrack to its classic state. This means that:
- Background music added after 1.13 will no longer play
- Music discs are unmodified
- All tracks are now chosen from a single pool of music
- Previously menu-exclusive tracks may play in survival or creative
(Beginning 2, Floating Trees, Moog City 2, Mutation) - Previously creative mode-exclusive tracks may play in survival or the main menu
(Aria Math, Biome Fest, Blind Spots, Dreiton, Haunt Muskie, Taswell)
- Previously menu-exclusive tracks may play in survival or creative
- Overworld tracks are no longer biome dependent (1.19+)
- All land biomes will pick from the same selection of 22 tracks
- Underwater tracks maintain their exclusivity (Axolotl, Dragon Fish, Shunji)
- Special tracks maintain their exclusivity (The End, Boss, Alpha (End Poem))
- The Deep Dark uses Ballad of the Cats to maintain its ambience
To re-add the 1.16 Nether Update soundtrack by Lena Raine, use the Music Selections: Nether Update resource pack in addition to this pack.
For improved listening (especially on versions prior to 1.21.6) I recommend the Mini Music Tweaks mod by evanbones.
