This (small) resourcepack lets you transform your netherite and diamond weapons into a spooky Aztec macuahuitl! Either Optifine or CIT Resewn is required for the pack to function. If you use Optifine, the blade of the macuahuitl will be emissive!
Historically, a macuahuitl was a bladed wooden club used by several Mesoamerican nations.
To see the model in-game, Simply rename a netherite/diamond sword/axe to 'Nightmare Macuahuitl' (case-insensitive).
As with most 3D models, the club looks terrible when Minecraft's strong enchantment glint is applied to it. I recommend reducing the enchantment glint or removing it entirely when playing with this pack. If you're playing in a version prior to 1.19.4, a texture pack (such as No Enchantment Glint) can help.
This resource pack was tested using:
- CIT Resewn v1.1.3, for Minecraft 1.20.1
- Optifine HD U H9, for Minecraft 1.18.2
- Optifine HD U G5, for Minecraft 1.12.2
In theory, it should work on any recent version of Optifine or CIT Resewn.
