What Does This Pack Do?

This pack changes the texture of stripped wood blocks to have a unique carved design on each type of wood. There are 3 add-ons you can choose from as well:

• Os' Improved Spruce removes the green spots on spruce-related blocks.
  
• Os' Improved Birch lightens the black spots on birch logs, and makes the inner wood lighter and paler.
  
• Os' Curracabah Acacia completely changes the orangey Acacia wood to be a new wood color we haven't seen in vanilla yet.

Here are the new blocks (without any add-ons)

Bamboo
Almost all design possibilities are available in some format. The only design not available is the plank texture that goes in the other direction from the regular planks' direction, which would normally be achieved by using the stripped bamboo block side which can be flipped on any axis.

I chose to have the pack act this way since this causes the bamboo plank texture to conform to the other planks, which also don't change direction, so not much is lost.

How to get all the designs for bamboo

Both double slab designs


• New "square swirl" design ---- bamboo plank double slabs
• Carved side ------------------- mosaic plank double slabs

Carved designs


• Half-carved side -------------- mosaic block
• Half-carved top --------------- stripped bamboo block, oriented on the X axis
• Carved side ------------------- mosaic double slabs
• Carved top -------------------- stripped bamboo block, oriented on the Y axis

Mojang designs


• Mosaic ------------------------ top/bottom slabs & stairs
• Stripped bamboo block top --- stripped bamboo block, oriented on the Z axis

Untouched blocks


• Bamboo planks
• Bamboo block (the green one)

Using this pack as a template to make your own textures that work the same way in game as mine do is allowed and encouraged. Please note that I've changed some of the names of the files from their vanilla counterparts - you will need to keep these names when changing out the textures or the files will not be able to find the textures.
