Sidescroller Perspective
Sidescroller Perspective in minecraft through only a resource pack :>
(Does not change your controls, or terrain generation.)
Usage Guide:
Press F5 to be able to see yourself
To stabilize camera: (only works in world you have command permission in)
/attribute @s minecraft:camera_distance base set 0
To undo that:
/attribute @s minecraft:camera_distance base reset
Sign text floats in the air mysteriously. This is a feature!
HELP ITS BROKEN:
Mobs/Entities are not showing from a Sidescroller Perspective!
This Resource Pack is not compatible with Sodium, despite being vanilla. As of writing this text, Sodium doesn't support core vanilla shaders being different from the default.
(Sodium is in almost like every modpack. It makes minecraft run way faster)

It's always been that way, you just couldn't see it because it was always behind you.(I can't fix this lol)
If you want, you can press F5 again, and now you can see stuff behind you, but stuff in front of you will dissapear instead.

This is a feature! Now you can read signs you are looking at. You wouldn't be able to read signs that well otherwise!Has some xray capabilities, by nature, so don't use it on your favorite server without permission!
How?!: This modifies Core vanilla shaders, Which for some reason resource packs can do now I guess. I think mojang did it by accident(?), so don't necessarilly expect this type of thing to stick around. I also made sign text float specifically, differentiating Nametag text by looking for pure white text, and the transparent nametag box by looking for transparency.
Install Guide:
Minecraft 26.3 > Options > Resource Packs... > Drag and drop the Sidescroller Perspective.zip onto your minecraft window.
