Testificate is a resourcepack that aims to make textures more consistent between one another.
It bothers me that a lot of textures in minecraft either have inconsisten colors or are straight up done in a different art-style, for example:
- Tools have very flat shading compared to armor and other items made of the same material, in some cases they even use a completely different color pallet.
- The brush has a very weird pastel-like color pallet that in my opinion just doesnt fit the game.
- The copper ingot just looks bad because it is shaded unlike any other ingot in the game.
- Fireworks, cobwebs and wheat seeds dont have an outline.
- music discs use the exact same texture they had since beta,
- etc. etc.
And so, i've decided to try and fix and improve as many textures as i can.
There's a chance that i'll add some additional features like: tools would have a "broken" texture when they're at 1 durability, torches and lanterns would actually be emissive in your hand, stuff like that but no promises.
