TRTA/Tokyo Metro 02 Series

This is my first Modrinth project. This pack contains a modified version of the default Eidan 9000 train in Minecraft Transit Railway into the TRTA/Tokyo Metro 02 Series, which this resource pack requires in order to work. If you want to re-create the Marunouchi Line, this is the train you want.

The Teito Rapid Transit Authortity introduced the 02 Series in 1988, coming in eight batches, the first seven being fifty-three six-car sets that ran on the main line, and the eighth being six three-car sets that ran on the Hōnanchō Branch Line, introduced in 1996. In 1998, the trains were fitted with ATC (automatic train control. In November 2002, they were fitted with TASC (Train Automatic Stopping Controller), allowing them to automatically stop at stations. This was followed by ATO in 2008.

Between 2010 and 2017, the 02 Series underwent a major refurbishment. This included replacement with new Toshiba PMSM (permanent magnet synchronous motors), as fitted to the Chiyoda Line 16000 series trains, which were brand new at the time. Internally, pairs of 17-inch LCD passenger information monitors were installed above the passenger doors. The interior was also finished in a pale salmon pink colour reminiscent of the original 300 series trains once used on the line, and externally, a white "sine wave" design was added to the red bodyside stripes, again reminiscent of the 300 series livery.

In 2019, their withdrawal began when the Tokyo Metro 2000 Series began to replace the 02 Series. The 3-car Hōnanchō Branch Line sets were withdrawn in August 2022. The last remaining 02 Series train left the Marunouchi Line in December 2024.
