Truly Purple Lite

The optimized PvP version of Truly Purple, with the same dark purple look and far less for your game to draw.

Lite is for players who want high FPS and a clear screen in a fight. It keeps the main textures and removes the 3D models and most visual effects. It's only about 2 MB, compared to about 14 MB for the main pack.

PvP features

  • Low fire, so burning doesn't block your screen
  • Low, small shield, so it doesn't cover your view
  • Small totem in your hand, plus a small totem pop
  • Small held items, so swords and tools take up less of your view
  • No explosion clouds or smoke from crystals, anchors or TNT
  • Clear water that's easier to see through
  • Hit particles kept, so you can still read a fight

The purple look

  • Purple netherite and diamond tools, weapons and armor
  • Trim colors on your armor
  • Purple items, ores and blocks, with a custom TNT and purple glass
  • Dark menus and a purple hotbar, hearts and XP bar

What's removed for FPS

  • 3D item models
  • Connected textures and glowing ore overlays
  • Most animated textures, which are now a single frame
  • Most particles
  • Clouds
  • Grass, ferns, bushes and other ground plants, which are now invisible
  • Screen overlays like the vignette and pumpkin view
  • Entity shadows
  • The moving menu background

Good to know

  • You don't need any mods to use Lite.
  • The end crystal is a flat purple icon here. The spinning 3D one is in the main pack.
  • Made and tested on 1.21.11.

Install

  1. Download the zip. Don't unzip it.
  2. In Minecraft, go to Options > Resource Packs > Open Pack Folder.
  3. Drop the zip in that folder, then turn the pack on in the game.
