Eddyveil is a fantasy-inspired shader pack that focuses on delivering beautiful visuals without sacrificing performance. Rather than aiming for photo-realism, Eddyveil enhances Minecraft's natural style with vibrant lighting, colorful skies, cinematic atmosphere, and immersive effects while remaining practical for everyday gameplay.

The shader was designed with exploration, survival, and building in mind. Caves remain bright enough to comfortably navigate, every dimension has its own unique atmosphere, and visual effects are carefully balanced to avoid unnecessary performance loss.

📥 Installation

Eddyveil requires the following:

• Minecraft Java Edition • Iris Shaders • Sodium

After installing Iris and Sodium, simply place the Eddyveil ZIP file into your shaderpacks folder and enable it from the Shader Packs menu.

No additional configuration is required. Eddyveil is designed around a single preset that provides the intended visual experience immediately after installation.

Unlike many cinematic shaders, Eddyveil was built with performance as a priority from the beginning.

Effects are carefully optimized to provide smooth gameplay while still delivering rich lighting, atmospheric skies, and immersive environments.

Performance will vary depending on your hardware, render distance, resolution, resource packs, and installed mods.

🍎 Apple Silicon Support

Eddyveil was developed and tested primarily on Apple Silicon Macs.

Unlike many shader packs that struggle with macOS, Eddyveil is optimized to provide a smooth experience on modern Apple hardware while remaining fully compatible with Windows and Linux through Iris.
