Yukee Shaders
A softer sky. A warmer world. A little more magic.
Yukee Shaders is an anime-inspired shaderpack for Iris, originally created for the cozy atmosphere of Yukee no Sora.
Illustrated clouds, warm lighting, shimmering water and softly glowing details give Minecraft a colorful, dreamlike feel. Each dimension has its own atmosphere, from peaceful Overworld landscapes to the amber haze of the Nether and the star-filled skies of the End.
Skies worth looking up for
- Illustrated clouds with delicate outlines and adjustable movement.
- Colorful sunrises and sunsets with warm highlights and lavender tones.
- Pearlescent sky effects, subtle sunlight rays and occasional magical sparkles.
- Starry nights with a visible galaxy and occasional shooting stars.
- Directional moonlight with cast shadows, moon-phase variation and adjustable brightness.
Light, color and glowing details
- Warm lanterns and torches with bright cores and soft bloom.
- Emissive materials that highlight the luminous parts of blocks while preserving their darker details.
- Glowing ores with distinct mineral colors and adjustable intensity.
- Glowing eyes for Endermen, spiders and phantoms.
- Animated Nether and End portals with richer colors and layered details.
- Soft color grading with adjustable warmth, saturation, gamma and pastel tones.
- Stylized outlines around terrain and entities, with aquatic plants excluded.
Ore and mob-eye glow are visual effects; they do not illuminate surrounding blocks.
Water and weather
- Reflective water with animated waves, sky-colored reflections and delicate surface sparkles.
- Depth-based transparency that keeps shallow water clear and gives deeper water a richer color.
- Dedicated flowing-water effects for waterfalls and vertical streams.
- Underwater atmosphere with turquoise tones, gradual distance fading and subtle caustic patterns.
- Stylized rain with delicate streaks, cooler lighting and distant mist.
A different atmosphere in every dimension
The Overworld
Warm daylight, illustrated clouds, gentle atmospheric depth and darker nights. Sunlight and moonlight cast shadows, while placed lights and held light-emitting items help illuminate your surroundings.
The Nether
A hot red-and-amber atmosphere with adjustable distance fog, glowing lava, rising steam above exposed lava and softer golden flames. Soul fire keeps its cool color palette.
The End
A dreamlike sky filled with soft lilac nebulae, stars, fine stardust and gentle twinkling. Lavender distance haze gives the islands and obsidian towers a mysterious atmosphere.

Compatibility and performance
Yukee Shaders is designed for Iris. Compatibility with other shader loaders has not been verified.
The listed Minecraft versions are compatibility targets; not every version has been separately verified in-game.
Performance depends on your GPU, resolution, render distance, shadow settings and installed mods. Start with the Low or Medium preset if you need more performance.
Resource packs and rendering mods may affect the final appearance. Some effects, including lava steam, use visible scene information and can change when their source moves out of view.
